Net Neutrality

Yowzaa! This just came to my attention today. I can’t even begin to believe that there are people out there that are thinking that blocking, banning, or making people pay to be found is a good idea. I am just at this moment searching and researching. If you enjoy what you do online, and you believe it’s your right… Pay ATTENTION to what the tele-com industry is trying to do to the web.

I went to blogher to add my blog there and saw something on it. A few links I found that you might want to check out:

If you climb you should read this....

I get an email for any recalls and today I got one that kinda freaked me out. It's for camming anchor's that climbers use. You can read about it here:
Anyway, I was like OMG! This is a recall that is life threatening. And my mind just started thinking about the climbers that own this, and how the heck are they going to know this has been recalled. I know I'm odd that I like to see all the stuff that gets recalled, most people most likely don't even know where or how to get this info. So I felt compelled to post this. If you know anyone who climbs, make sure they check the site out.

Are you afraid to use online banking?

I just started reading an article in PC World and for those of you who have a fear of identity theft and don't wanna do stuff online you should check it out:
http://www.pcworld.com/howto/article/0,aid,124156,00.asp
Less then 2.5 percent of the identity theft cases happened because of unsecured online transactions.

As always the safest way to get to a financial site is to hand type the addy never and I mean NEVER click a link in an email that says your bank needs you to.

MyWeb2 on Maxthon Browser

Well MyWeb2 doesn't work on Maxthon Browser or I can't get it to anyway. By doesn't work I mean I can't get the "add link" button to work. Work on IE and Firefox. I tried everything I knew how to make it work. Now I don't know if I'm upset with Maxthon or MyWeb2 ?

Community Bookmarks/Favorites

Have you heard about the sites where you can save your bookmarks/favorites? They call them community bookmarks or some such. You can quickly add to your list and "tag" it. Tag's make it easy for you to find like links. You can also cross tag. So say I found a really great site on CSS I could tag it: css webpage html then when I'm trying to find that css site I could click on the tag css and it would list all the sites I've tagged as css. There are two that I know of
http://del.icio.us/tarot.coach and
http://myweb2.search.yahoo.com/

right now I'm using both. I'll let ya know how I fair with them. Like delicious layout DONT like the pink ;-)
